How to choose the right lithium battery system

1. Assess your power needs
List devices (fridge, lights, chargers, pump) and estimate daily watt-hours. A 100Ah 12V lithium delivers approx 1200 Wh usable (12 V × 100Ah) at near full depth of discharge.
2. Match capacity & install space

100Ah–150Ah for weekends or moderate usage
200–300Ah+ for family caravans or heavy off-grid use
Ensure mounting fits your tray, compartment, foot-well, and that wiring/ventilation are correct.

3. Check compatibility

Use a lithium-compatible charger / regulator (lead-acid chargers may damage lithium systems).
Ensure battery management system (BMS) is included & capable of your load.
